Mission Statement

Our goal with the Texan Starlettes is to provide a fun and encouraging environment for our Danforth Junior High students to learn and explore dance while fostering school spirit. As the junior version of the WHS Texan Stars, we aim to cultivate a passion for dance and teamwork while preparing our members for future success in high school and beyond. Through dedication, discipline, and a supportive community, we strive to inspire confidence and excellence in each of our dancers.

​​Wimberley Dance Elite is the proud home studio of the WHS Texan Stars Dance Team and partners with WISD to bring dance to our Wimberley campuses.

What to Expect

• Monday weekly to bi weekly meeting and practice at Danforth cafeteria 3:45pm to 5pm. Fall dates are listed below and spring dates will be announced closer to the semester break.
• Monthly studio rehearsal at Wimberley Dance Elite 100 Melody Way 
• Performance opportunities at football games, spirit rallies, other school events 
• Dance instruction
• Dance choreography
• Performance opportunities within the community, including the WDE Holiday Show and Spring Recital​​​
