WDE STUDIO POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
We are so happy to have your dancers with us this season. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about our studio policies and procedures.
Payment and fees
Registration: This fee is charged on a yearly basis and helps cover our administrative expenses. The rates are $30 for new students, $25 for returning students, $20 for additional siblings.
Tuition: Tuition must be paid by the 5th of each month. Payments received after the 5th will incur a $10 charge. If a payment is more than a month late, the student will not be allowed to attend class. Please contact our office if special consideration is needed.
Recital fees: Recital fees are due by the posted due dates. All late payments will incur a $35 fee. Recital fees are non-refundable. Please contact our office in advance of the final due dates if special consideration is needed.
Final bill payment policy: A Final Bill will be distributed to you in April. This will contain any remaining fee and tuition balances. In order for your child to be able to dance in the recital, the Final Bill MUST be paid before the day of the recital. Also, any unpaid balance must be paid before registering for summer classes or the new dance year. If you need special consideration, please contact our office within 5 days of receipt of your Final Bill.
Returned checks: There is a $20 fee for all returned checks in addition to the check amount.
Attendance
Early Drop-off & Late Pickup: Please plan to drop off and pick up your child within a 10 minute window of your dancer’s class time. There will be a $5 fee for every 10 minute increment exceeding the window. We want your children safe and supervised.
Dance Class Attendance and Arrival: The school reserves the right to have a student who comes more than 15 minutes late to class to sit out of the class. Warm up time is essential to your dancer’s health and safety.
Discontinuing Classes: 30 day written notice prior to the upcoming tuition payment is required for all students planning to discontinue classes. You will be responsible for your next payment if you do not submit your 30-day written notice. Please be aware that we will consider requests for refunds at our discretion without 30 day written notice.
Extreme Weather or Unexpected Cancellation of Classes/ Make ups: If WDE must cancel classes due to extreme weather or events beyond our control, classes will be canceled and students will make up the lesson within 14 days in a similar level class. Refunds or credits are not given. WDE follows the WISD extreme weather and closure decisions.
