PreK Camps and Classes

PreK Camps

Wimberley Dance Elite’s Pre K summer camps encourage students to explore movement, creativity and musicality while introducing  essential dance skills.  Campers will receive age appropriate instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Tumbling and Musical Theatre and engage in activities revolving around the week's theme.  Students will develop balance, rhythm and musicality while learning essential social skills and classroom etiquette.  A mini performance will be held on the last day of camp and family and friends are invited to attend.


Monday, Tuesday &  Wednesday 9:00am- 12:00pm 
Campers bring snacks and a spill-proof water bottle

PRINCESS DANCERS     June 14th-16th
UNDER THE SEA            June 28th-30th

Camp fees:

Tiny Tumblers
Tuesdays 10:00 - 10:45am

PreK with a TWIST (themed ballet, tap, and creative movement classes)
Thursdays 11:00 - 11:45am

Dance Classes

ALL CLASSES ARE HELD TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS 
4pm  PETITE PREP- beginners 5yrs- 8yrs
5pm  TEEN PREP- beginner/ intermediate 8yrs and up
6pm  SENIOR PREP- advanced (instructor approval required)

PETITE PREP- beginner 5yrs- 8yrs 
TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS  4pm- 5pm
These classes will rotate  Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theater, and HipHop genres and provide fun, theme based dance instruction for the younger beginning dancer.

TEEN PREP- beginner/ intermediate 8yrs and up 
TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS  5pm- 6pm
These classes will rotate Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theater, and HipHop  genres for the older beginner  or intermediate dancer.

SENIOR PREP- advanced instructor approval required
MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS  6pm-7pm
These classes will focus on retention of skills and technique in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Contemporary genres.  These classes are offered with instructor approval.

Summer Acro

Camps, classes or both! WDE Acro has you flipping this summer!

Acro Dance is an art form that incorporates both the fluid movements of dance and the difficult tricks from acrobatics. Dancers not only learn how to execute each acro move with strength, flexibility and technique, but also learn to perform each trick seamlessly through choreographed routines.  Adding acro dance is next-level training that will develop a specific skill set, and creates well-rounded and versatile dancers. 

CAMPS

Tricked Out Tumbling Camp 1 is for ages 7 and up.
Tricked Out Tumbling Camp 2 is for ages 9 and up with some acro, gymnastics or tumbling experience.

Camp fees:
$135 per camp 
$110 sibling rate (2nd dancer)
$115 additional camp rate
$95 sibling additional camp rate (2nd dancer)

CLASSES

Junior 2 classes are for students who have completed Junior 1 level classes or who can demonstrate mastery of Junior 1 level skills.
Junior 1 and Junior 2 classes are for dancers aged 7 and up.
