Adult Classes

Our adult classes are here to offer you a place to let the world go and escape in the world of dance.  You will learn new skills that will benefit you both in and out of the studio. 
​And remember, your first class is on us!

Better Brain Health
A study done by The New England Journal of Medicine found that dancing can boost your memory and even prevent the onset of dementia.  Remembering steps and the everchanging movements of dance are great ways to challenge your brain and it's cognitive skills.

Improved Flexibility
Dance movements can increase flexibility and reduce stiffness.  Even the simple stretches associated with dancing can help to ease joint pain.

Increased Energy
Research from The Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition found a weekly dance program can improve adults' physical performance and increase their energy levels. 

Better Coordination Strength & Balance
Dancing requires lots of fast movement and good posture, which can help you gain better control of your body. Moreover, there are 3 primary planes of motion; unlike simple movements such as walking and cycling, which only involve the sagittal plane of your body, dancing works your body from all planes, which means ALL your muscles are involved, not just some.  

Improved Social & Emotional Health
One of our favorite parts of our classes is that they are a great way to make new friends and branch out socially! Having positive relationships is a major contributing factor to better mental health.  Come join us as we learn, we excercise and we laugh together!

Beginner Ballet

This class is designed to build strength, flexibility, coordination, fluidity and grace.  Ballet class includes barré work, center exercises including Adagio and Petit Allegro phrases and across the floor work including traveling turns and Grand Allegro phrases.​ Mondays 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Intermediate Tap

Build up from the basics as you practice a variety of technical exercises and apply them to musical concepts. In addition to breaking down sounds, you’ll also travel across the floor and learn short combinations. Mondays 11 AM - 12 PM

BEGINNER TAP (coming soon)
No experience required, however the pace of instruction is designed to accommodate a range of beginners: brand-new tappers as well as those returning to tap after some time away.

Beginner Hip Hop

Hip-Hop is a popular dance style rooted in the commercial entertainment industry and seen in music videos and concerts, commercials, movies and sporting events. In hip-hop class, students will learn a series of fun, energetic steps set to age-appropriate music. Students will be taught rhythm and coordination, and will be challenged to think on their feet while enjoying a fast-paced class​.  Thursdays 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Strength & Stretch - All Levels (coming soon)

While the focus is on conditioning, some classes may also incorporate a little cardio or plyometrics, and all include mat work aimed at core strength. Class is performed barefoot to stimulate balance reflexes and tighten core muscles.
